Embarrassing Moment: A friend, who I will call "Randy", his mother passed away. So my family drove about an hour & a half from home to his mother's viewing. While there, I asked Randy if we could take his family out to eat after the viewing. They agreed. We had a great time eating together. When I went to pay for the bill, I pulled out my Discover card & the restaurant did not take Discover. I took out my new Visa that I had gotten that day, when the cashier ran it through it wouldn't take. I found out later that I was still to use my old Visa until the new date began on my new Visa. I went to pay with check, but they won't accept a check, especially since it was an out-of-town check. I did not have enough cash on me. So for a moment I didn't know what I was going to do. Randy saw what was happening & stepped in to pay the bill with his credit card. It was an awkward & embarrassing time, although I did make out a check for the total amount & gave it to him to cover the bill.

Funny thing was Randy went on a district mission trip with a few people from the church where I was serving. Randy told the people from my church not to accept an invitation if I asked them to go out to eat & that it was my treat because they may get stuck with the bill. Although Randy told them the rest of the story. So when the people from my church got back from the mission trip, I had to relive the embarrassing time.
